Parcours 2026

WARNING: Please always keep in mind that this is a volatile part of the world. Changes can happen between now and the finish day of the rally at any time.

START – BUDAPEST JANUARY 23, 2026
The rally will once again depart from one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, Budapest.

EUROPE
There will be only one extra long marathon stage in Europe. Teams will have to get to Genoa or one of the Spanish ports for the ferry crossing.

MOROCCO
The Moroccan leg of the rally will kick off the the magnificent port city of Tangier. On day one we will split into two branches. Competition teams and 4×4 adventurre category teams will head to the high plains city of Midelt. Touring category teams can enjoy the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The two groups will rendez-vous in Mhamid after crossing the Sarhro and Atlas mountains respectively. The rally will travel to the Draa valley and the Southern provinces of Morocco.

MAURITANIA
Teams will visit Mauritania’s most spectacular places with some classic destinations and pure Saharan driving.  Expect golden sand dunes, soft desert paths and fast salt flats. We’ll pass through the Banc D’Arguin National Park and return to B2 Beach named after the rally. Extreme off-road teams and race teams will drive along the train tracks of the Sahara to Terjit Oasis and the first time in its history a second demanding desert stage will take teams to Oued Naga.

SENEGAL
Grassy, bushy savannas will welcome the rally in Senegal. Experience traditional African village life under ancient baobab trees as you navigate along dusty donkey tracks. Watch hippos and crocodiles in the Gambia river or visit Simenti National Park to hang out with monkeys.

GUINEA
The rally returns to the spectacular highlands and waterfalls of Guinea. The plateaus of the Fouta Jalon will spell relief from the extreme heat of earlier days.

SIERRA LEONE
Once again the rally will spend its last full afternoon, evening and night on one of West Africa’s most breathtaking beaches, Bureh Beach. From here a 50km victory lap will take teams to the finish line in the capital.
